The Prophet (صلي الله عليه و سلم ) said: “Each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock. A man is responsible for his family and his flock.” -Reported by al-Bukhaaree
Allah the most high has places a trust on us with regards to our children; that we cultivate them, and nurture them correctly upon the pure Islamic Creed, free from associating partners with him in worship. Bringing up children is a momentous task and, if done correctly, can bring about huge rewards both in this life and the hereafter.
With this in mind, we hope to establish a school in Manchester, founded on the principles of Islam, following the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of his Prophet (may Allah’s peace be upon him). We aim to aid, encourage and develop our children to fulfil their potential and reach high levels in education. Our aim is to nurture them and instil a sense of belief and confidence in their ability.
On the authority of Abu Musa al-Ash’ari (رضي الله عنه ), the Prophet (صلي الله عليه و سلم ) said: “A good friend and a bad friend are like a perfume-seller and a blacksmith: The perfume-seller might give you some perfume as a gift, or you might buy some from him, or at least you might smell its fragrance. As for the blacksmith, he might singe your clothes, and at the very least you will breathe in the fumes of the furnace.” – Sahih al-Bukhari, vol 3, #314 and Muslim]
It is imperative that our children are in the company of those upon the sunnah. We want to save our children from the fitnah they may fall into, whilst giving them as many opportunities as possible.
Our school aims to provide a firm basis upon which to achieve success. It aims to provide a curriculum of learning Islam (Aqeedah, Manhaj, Fiqh, Arabic, Qur’aan and more) as well as the regular subjects they will need to make use of, such as Maths, English, Geography, etc. Only with the correct tarbiyyah can we hope to secure their future in both this life and the hereafter.
We ask Allah for Success
